Current go to makeup- Spring time!

Being a bit of a beauty 'junkie' I tend to switch up my makeup quite a lot  but occasionally I’ll find a routine I really like and it sticks for a little while. I’ve been all about dewy/glowy looking skin, which is great at promoting a healthier glow for spring time.So for me the rediscovery of facial toner and sponges has been amazing! 

I have also been playing around a lot more with lip crayons, as they are lighter than a lipstick but still have the same stay power. I find lip crayons look better on me in lighter shades of pink as I naturally have a peach-ish toned complexion. I have recently been getting a lot of use out of my 'cosmic kisses' lip crayon, which is in the shade pink infinity. To me this acts as a lip balm as well...but maybe that's just what i tell my very lazy self.

I have also been getting a lot of use out of one of my all time favourite blushes from a brand (that i think has been discontinued) called BYS. The name of it is blushing rose,which does give the shade away a bit ;).So as someone who isn't a big fan of contouring(Round face + dark tones= massive no) so a blusher that highlights and gives a bit of definition is amazing! Especially when you wake up late!

As its finally starting to get a bit warmer i think one of the sacrifices i will have to make is not wearing as much concealer, so when looking for a much lighter replacement I realised that a tinted moisturizer could be the answer! Seeing as one of my most re-purchased items Is a tinted moisturizer i think it deserves a mention. As its not quite a foundation or a concealer its the perfect lighter alternative for spring time. I use the Stila one and it has SPF 30 in it so it would also be in my holiday makeup bag.

At the moment I seem to be wearing a lot more of my lengthening mascaras as they tend to look lighter and give a more 'fluttery' effect. So the collection skyscraper mascara and the very old  collagen curl collection mascara are current makeup staples :)

I figured that a good way to introduce myself to you would be to do this tag.It basically just stands for too much information,so you can know some more about me.I also really like answering questions so it shall be fun :)


1: What are you wearing?

Some skinny jeans, a mint green gilly hicks top and bed socks.I haven't left my house today so its okay though.


2: Ever been in love?

Erm... with many famous people twice my age and who don't know i exist which is not creepy


3: Ever had a terrible breakup?

Nope!


4: How tall are you?

I think im around 5 foot something?


5: How much do you weigh?

Hmm , i don't think i'm comfortable answering this.


6: Any tattoos?

No, but i do think tattoos are really pretty.


7: Any piercings?

I have both of my ears pierced twice


8: OTP?

phan and Jim and Pam from the office but i'm not sure if they have a shipping name.


9: Favourite show?

The office US is my main addiction atm, but i really like outnumbered and corrie as well :)


10: Favourite bands?

I love Fall out boy (i'm seeing them in 2 weeks time ahh) and Bastille,Arctic monkeys,nai harvest and the wonder years


11: Something you miss? .

Probably all my family who live in Australia. I also really miss being little in general and the freedom and innocence of being 4.

I'm 14.(15 in November)

I'm a Sagittarius!


15: Quality you look for in a partner?

Someone who can just laugh at themselves and who understands my humour.

It constantly changes but i love the quote 'Life is better when you're laughing'

I don't really have one but i love John Karinski :)

I like any pastel colours.

A mixture of both i think.


20: Where do you go when you're sad?

I try to go outside


21: How long does it take you to shower?

Maybe about 15 minutes, but i will stay in there for longer if I'm going out.


22: How long does it take you to get ready in the morning?

About half an hour for school, but if im going out on a weekend about an hour or so.


23: Ever been in a physical fight?

Hahaaha, even the idea of that is funny..I'm not really into physical conflict i'd rather just mentally insult you.


24: Turn on?

Having a sense of humour. If your funny i will like you 100% more :)


25: Turn off?

Someone who is just generally really loud and doesn't care about other peoples opinions...which is half of the boys in my school.


26: The reason I made a blog?

I made a blog as i have read blogs for so many years and i just though why not give it a go as it's something i've wanted to do for a long time!


27: Fears?

Ermm, the thought of family members dying makes me really upset so maybe that or needles as i cant look at one without wanting to faint.


28: Last thing that made you cry?

Literally just got a bit upset thinking about family members dying...


29: Last time you said you loved someone?

I told the Chinese delivery guy i loved him by accident when he gave me my food -.- but I told my mum i loved her before she went out this morning


30: Meaning behind your blog Name?

I just called it life-with-Charlotte as i plan for this to be a sort of lifestyle blog as well as a fashion sort of blog, that and the fact that I spent ages needing a blog name so I just made it really simple!


31: Last book you read?

I finished a really good psychology book on my kindle last week because i'm a bit of geek with psychology...




32: The book you're currently reading?

Will Greyson Will Greyson by John Green and David Leuithan which is amazing so far!


33: Last show you watched?

I watched an episode of the peep show about an hour ago.


34: Last person you talked to?

I talked to my mum and dad at dinner.


35: The relationship between you and the person you last texted?

I last texted my best friend Bethan, and i probably could just text her about anything and its really nice and we talk about literally anything which sometimes ends up in very weird conversations!

Any Indian and Mexican food is nice, and I like fruit a lot as well (which is something i would never have thought i would say..)


37: Place you want to visit?

America and Sicily!

Downstairs eating Chinese food.

On 2 youtubers yes.

I went to pick my cat up this morning and she yawned at me and fell back asleep.

I really like any sour sweets so i think that's usually the yellow colour?

I used to play piano but i can play guitar as well
